I thought I'd better post something on here, just so that there is a blog to read!
I will be posting more, of course, but this is the first time that I've 'blogged' so I'll probably be rubbish at it! You have been warned! ;)
So I guess I will be discussing all kinds of different things in future blogs. I hope to bring you random thoughts, answers, insight, reviews and of course a whole massive bloggy pile of.... COMPETITIONS & GIVEAWAYS!

ReplyDeleteMy names Jess and I have been a Candy Fan for about 6 months. During which time, I have watched this amazing lady create even the smallest things, with such care and dedication. Recently I purchased an Iphone case from Miss Candy, which consisted of Gingerbreads, Sweets, and Cupcakes.. AND it was scented. The work that was put into this unique phone case, was truly out of this world, and 2 weeks later, the scent is still amazingly good and strong. For any of you who are tempted, or debating purchasing any of Miss Candy's good, let me please tell you, it is worth every penny. The love and passion that she puts into each and every piece, from the smallest swirly candy cane, to the biggest cupcake is next to astonishing. DeleteHello from "across the pond", or more specifically Texas. I first saw your work through a YT giveaway by Jess (which I didn't win). I'm not too familiar with the Lush line of products. But luckily, a new store has opened near me and I look forward to exploring.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I thought your sweets/candies line was extremely cute and clever. However, seeing a bracelet or phone cover in a picture is quite different than seeing you actually make the candies on video. (I think I watched the entire video with my mouth open).From a small piece of clay, the prettiest and most believable heart shaped chocolate cream is born. I have never met any one who has a talent such as yours!
I look forward to seeing more videos featuring beans, chocolate pie, and peppermints. And, learning a new English vocabulary is an added bonus! The first was "sugar mice."

My absolute favorite is the iPhone cover all in chocolates!! <3 <3 <3 chocolate- but unable to eat any due to reflux from chemo. Gives me great pleasure to make chocolate desserts for others-always tempted to taste-but don't dare. It will be nice to also follow your blog now. Any & all art makes me happy!! Wow, that is so, so super kind and lovely of you to make all those chocolate desserts for people despite being unable to eat chocolate yourself :) I hope there are a lot of desserts you can enjoy! Glad you like my phone cover! I have spent years working on my polymer chocolates to make them look as realistic as I possibly can, and trying to keep that realism when I design chocolates of my own too :)

Hi, I'm Katie. I found Arts & Candies on Facebook a year or two ago and was so excited to find someone who made Lush jewelry (I love that store!). I ordered a bracelet with my favorite Lush items and I love it- it's nice to have something different and so realistic; it makes a great conversation piece, especially at the Lush store. I just ordered a phone cover as well and I'm beyond excited for when it's done!

DeleteHaya! Well im a simple creature, most ppl call me Erika. I have no great introduction. But I can tell that I believe in art. My personal life moto is paint your life, i believe that art, colours brings to our life colourful or dark palletes. Its our decition though weather we choose negative or positive colours. My life used to be mostly darkgrey, black, but now im painting my life with pink, red, blue, all pastel colours. So its all about your choice. Then take your brush and paint your life! ;)
